29th April 2011 Windsurfing: felixstowe dip end Wind Direction: NE Wind Stength: 12/14kts Surf / Sea State: flat Air Temperature: cool Sea Temperature: ok Weather: ok Max Speed: no gps Distance Covered: 1-5 pm (Nautical Miles - unless stated otherwise) started they day - badly leaving gps on charge at home. met 6 at the dip 1.00 ish with tide turned so wind against made it nice and flat. 7.8M RS/ 76 Tabou rocket was the perfect combo and had a dream day blasting around up or down wind with ease. the wind freshened a bit later and I was on the limit, with no downhaul left. Rog saved me £50 as I ground out in the low tide losing the fin, which he found in the shallows as I went to get another one. All the guys had a good time with Ian and Andy testing their Isonics. Dodgy boards as they always look as if the nose will dive! 5***** day for me |
